This year (18 June), the car set a new lap recort at N?rburgring race track for front-wheel-drive production cars with time of eight minutes, eight seconds. This is 9 seconds fast than last record set again by Renault Sport Megane R26 in 2008. Designed and engineered solely for motorsport, this prototype delivers 360hp while tipping the scales at 980kg.

What a hot-hatch

Nissan Juke is a fun and enjoyable car to drive. Now he will be equiped with 3.8 V6 twin turbo 480bhp engine from Nissan GT-R and also uses a modified version of the coupe’s 4WD driveline, plus its six-speed transaxle.

Although the Japanese manufacturer says this car itself is not destined for production. The Juke is now powered with 1.6-litre and 1.6-litre turbo petrol units and a 1.5-litre dCi turbodiesel.

Two versions of the Juke-R will be produced – with in right and left-hand drive. The interior is equiped with gauges, buttons and the LCD screen from the Nissan GT-R. Although the car is legal to drive, it features twin race seats, five-point harnesses and a competition-spec rollcage. The Juke-R has been developed by motorsport specialist RML, with input from the Nissan Technical Centre for Europe at Cranfield, Bedfordshire. The car is still in development and is expected to start testing in next month.

Unique features include matt paintwork, a black roof, black 18-inch alloy wheels, Bridgestone RE 050A tyres and leather-upholstered Recaro bucket seat. 203 Hp under the bonnet for a hell of a ride! 666 units of Clio R.S. “Ange & D?mon” will be available on Halloween.
